14 women will be competing next season ( Septmber 3, 2008). However one of the girls was born a boy! Her name is Isis she is 22 years old and is from Prince George's County.

The model is quoted saying  "My cards were dealt differently." Adding that she identifies herself as "a woman born physically male."

GLAAD president Neil Giuliano says this marks "an unprecedented opportunity for a community that is underrepresented on television.."
