I know this is in the Chester River..but where is it? I know where the Corseca Neck River is....how far away from that is it? We always go to Dobbins Island but it would be nice to have a nice place over here to go to.

You have never been to Dobbins island??? Its in the Magothy River across the bay (kind of behind Gibson island). Its shelterd...sandy beach (can't use much of it as the island was sold and there are now pilings with chain marking how far up you can go on the beach. There is a sand bar on one side of the island that is great for the kids to play on.I am going to go check out your link. Thanks...

Just checked out the link...that is Great...might go their tomorrow...or Sunday...just to see what its like. How deep is the water in  there?

Hi
Not sure how deep the water is. When we go in I know there is a good deal of water.  With my boat we need 4-5 feet of water. We normally drop anchor @ 4 ft. We also  enter slow and look at the depth finder. Some boats beach their boat.  Have fun !
